Battle Of Midway This years Battle of Midway Commemorative Dinner promises to be the best ever. Our expected attendance this year is 1000 plus. We need some help with ticket sales to hit our intended attendance. I would like to solicit your help with ticket sales in your area. We are very fortunate to have our CNO, Admiral Jonathan Greenert (confirmed) as our keynote speaker for this years 70th anniversary of the Battle of Midway, the turning point battle of the Pacific during WW ll. Other high profile invitations have been extended to Governor Rick Scott, Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll, and movie/TV personality Gary Sinese ( Lt. Dan ). Early indications are he will accept our invitation. An added feature of this years Commemorative event will be the invitation that has been extended to all Medal of Honor recipients in the Ga-Fla. area. We have also invited veterans from the Battle of Normandy, Wounded Warriors, POWs, and other WW ll veterans. Our reach out to Battle of Midway veterans this year is even more extensive than in years past. The Navy Southeast Band will again be providing music for the evening event along with soloist entertaining us with some selected patriotic songs. Please let me know how many tickets you need. Ticket prices are shown on the flyer which I have attached. Thank you for your help in making this another highly successful BOM Commemorative event.
